Investors in Innovation

The TSP is at the forefront of our industry's effort to create the common standards needed for businesses to become more productive and profitable, and to ensure the safety of audiences and the many people who make their livelihoods in our industry. Investing in the TSP is investing in the present and future of the entertainment technology industry. Whether you are concerned with safety in the workplace or issues of equipment compatibility, you can have a direct impact by becoming a donor.

The TSP is supported almost entirely through donations. The Investors in Innovation Program recognizes the many companies, individuals, and organizations whose financial contribution makes the technical standards effort possible. They understand that real innovation in technology requires vision, persistence, and the commitment to working together for common goals. Because every donation, no matter its size, is important, Investors in Innovation recognizes individuals and companies of all sizes, and places them in three categories: Supporters, Investors, and Visionaries.

ESTA and Earl Girls, Inc. invite industry professionals and supporters to take the EGI Challenge and join the Technical Standards Program (TSP) in advancing safety and innovation. With an ambitious fundraising goal of $100,000 by December 31, 2024, the TSP aims to match a generous $50,000 donation from Don Earl and Earl Girls, Inc.

"Supporting the TSP is an easy decision,” said Don Earl. “Safety in entertainment is so important, and I hope the EGI Challenge will encourage others to make the same choice we did. The money we raise together will continue to empower the work of over 350 volunteer experts dedicated to drafting standards that reflect the latest technologies, save lives, protect equipment, and enhance creativity."
