ESTA_Boilerplate_For_Specifiers.txt provides cut-and-paste text as a convenience for people writing specifications and wishing to reference in those specifications standards developed in ESTA's Technical Standards Program. Use of this text will reduce the probability of undesired equipment or installation practices being offered in response to a bid request or a call for proposals because a standard describing the equipment or installation practice was referenced imprecisely. This document of recommended cut-and-paste text will be revised as new standards are published and older ones are revised or reaffirmed, and as better text specifying the standards is written.
