LDI 2012 PLASA Control Protocol Pavilion: A Call to Connect!
2012-08-06

In keeping with tradition, PLASA announces the  PLASA Control Protocol Pavilion at the LDI 2012 Show, to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, October 19 - 21. Formerly called the Connectivity Pavilion, this pavilion at booth 2041 provides a demonstration area for manufacturers' implementations of PLASA's ANSI standards used throughout the lighting control industry. By bringing together various pieces of equipment in a neutral area, we are able to show the public how various manufacturers' products can be integrated, and demonstrate that the protocols worked on by these member manufacturers are viable and available for use in today's applications and specifications.

PLASA is putting a call out to all manufacturers around the world who wish to supply product for this year's Pavilion. PLASA is looking for controllers, signal distribution, fixtures, accessories, monitoring, and other forms of equipment that implement current standards, including, but not limited to, ANSI E1.11 (DMX512-A), ANSI E1.17 (ACN), ANSI E1.20 (RDM), ANSI E1.31 (sACN), and others. A participation interest form is available athttp://tsp.plasa.org/tsp/PLASA_StandardsNews/ResponseForm2012.pdf.

For further information or answers to questions regarding this year's Pavilion, please contact Bill Ellis, President of Candela Controls, atbellis@candelacontrols.com.
